Kas and Kekova - A day on the Mediterranean

The town of Kaş is known for having some of the most beautiful coastline in southern Turkey, which puts it right up there with some of the most beautiful coastline in the world.  That, and the fact that it wasn't much cooler than it had been in Antalya, was enough to convince us that another day on the water was the way to go.  We found a full-day boat trip around the nearby island of Kekova that included lunch, quite a few swimming stops, and a visit to ruins of a sunken city!

Little did we know that it also had a high jump, which became the highlight of the day!

Christie and David mastered the simultaneous high jump while holding hands.  Or as Christie said, "with David pulling me down the whole way!"

I didn't quite master that technique, but apparently I did master a technique of my own.  We are calling it the frog jump.  I am wondering if it could be a new Olympic dive?

Charles showed off his excellent diving form!

The Turks like to give you more than you pay for.  We moved from one bay to another around Kekova swimming, eating, relaxing, and visiting the underwater ruins.  We thought that we were in for a seven-hour ride, but it turned out to last more than nine.  We were still swimming around the time that we thought we would be back to Kaş!  It couldn't have been a more fun last day with Charles and Christie.
